How to ask workshops for offers, choose the right one and keep your car’s service history.
Enter your car’s registration plate — the make, model and year come from the Estonian traffic register. Choose what needs doing: an oil change, a tyre change, maintenance, or describe the problem in your own words. Then publish the job. Verified workshops in your region send offers with a price and a time, and you pick the one that suits you best.
No. Asking for offers is free and doesn’t commit you to anything — if none of the offers suits you, you don’t have to accept one. Automagic adds no commission to the workshop’s price.
A workshop may give a ballpark price, because the exact amount of work is often only clear once they see the car. An offer always has a price and a time; you settle the details with the chosen workshop over the phone.
Only the workshop whose offer you accept. Other workshops see your job, but not your phone number.
The chosen workshop calls you, agrees the details and confirms the booking. You pay the workshop directly for the repair, as usual — Automagic does not handle the payment.
The areas around Estonia’s bigger towns: every county centre plus Narva. We started in Tartu. A published job belongs to one region, and the workshops of that region can make offers on it.
Every completed job stays in the vehicle’s service book as an entry: the date, the work done, the odometer reading and the workshop’s name. The history belongs to the vehicle, not the owner, and stays with the car when it is sold.
The handover is free, secure and under your control. Email us at info@automagic.ee and ask for the history to be handed over. The buyer receives a one-time 6-digit handover code that unlocks the vehicle’s service history.
How to register a workshop, run its calendar, make offers and bring in your employees.
Create an account and register the workshop with the workshop code we gave you — the code is needed during launch. A workshop registered with the code is a verified workshop. If you don’t have a code yet, get in touch with us.
Choose the regions you work in — you only see published jobs from those regions. You can make offers once the workshop’s address and phone number are filled in, because the driver sees them with your offer.
Every resource — a lift, a wheel-alignment stand, diagnostic equipment — has its own row on the calendar. One job can take up time on several rows at once. You add and change them under My Workshop.
In the offer you set a price (a ballpark is fine) and pick a lift and a time on the calendar. The driver sees the price and the time, but not the lift. Pending offers show on your calendar, but they don’t take up any time.
The job appears first in your Jobs list, marked “To confirm”, with the driver’s name and phone number. Call the driver, agree the details and confirm the booking on the job page — the lift and time from your offer are already selected.
Every job is tied to a vehicle by its registration plate, and the registry data comes in automatically. In Contacts you keep the people you do work for, and each job can have a contact to call when the car is ready. A completed job stays in the vehicle’s service history.
Yes. Invite your employees to the workshop — each has their own login, and everyone sees the same calendar and jobs.
A workshop with fewer than 5 employees runs on Automagic free, forever. For larger workshops the Workshop plan costs €30 per employee per month and the Full service plan €480 per month. Prices exclude VAT. No commission is taken on jobs.
Write to us and we will reply as soon as we can. You can also ask us for a workshop code.
